Mandjou Mara is a master djembe player and griot (praise singer) from Guinea, West Africa who moved to Madison, WI in 2008.
He directs Limanya Drum and Dance Ensemble which showcases traditional Guinean music and dance.
Kikeh Mato is Mandjou's Afro-Pop band. This contemporary African music will make you dance, dance, dance!
Mandjou is available for performances, workshops, and residencies. He teaches djembe drum classes in Madison. See his services page for more information.
