All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the lives of AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children in Southern Africa through Kidlinks World, Inc.
 
For the first time, Africa Alive will take place at a beautiful landmark site in Fitchburg, the Agora Pavilion at 5500 East Cheryl Parkway.  This event will take place on August 6, 2011 from Noon to 7PM.  Parking is free.  This year, we are focusing on a global theme with multi-cultural activities.

Events and performers include:
- Tani Diakete, Djam Vivie and Atimevu
- Limanya Drum and Dance Ensemble
- The Goongoo Peas – Interactive Caribbean Folk Music
- FreeQuenC – Hip Hop
- Youth costume contest
- Mandjou Mara – Master Drummer and Praise Singer
- Balloon artists, jugglers, face painters and much more.
